There's a good chance that you have already seen our channel, so in that case I would encourage you to sign up for our notification emails just for DIY videos. Why sign up for this? Simply because YouTube does not show you the channels you've subscribed to, rather it tries to show you what it thinks you'd prefer to see based on your search and web history.
I am just building a Zendrive-like pedal at the moment, so this was great.
Love this video! This is a good lesson for us DIY I built my first pedal on 2013, and I still learning about how electronics works in audio, specially guitar effects. On YouTube we don’t see so much content about DIY pedals. If is possible for you (you are busy man probably not have time for this) you could do a second YouTube channel focusing on videos like the zendriver breakdown circuit, and maybe you could uploading video maybe once a month or even a year whatever your time allows you.
Thanks again for your effort on produce so much content for us!!
Hi Brian, and greetings to you from Ireland. I hope you and your family are safe and well in these strange and uncertain times. I would certainly like to see more videos like this, but for the less “tech-savvy” of your subscribers – (like me) – it would be very helpful if it’s not too difficult to do to have a view of the actual pedal and its settings along with the schematics and resistors, diodes etc. I’m personally a big fan of Wampler pedals, but they are difficult to get here in Ireland.
Stay safe and well,
Sean.
I’m trying to slowly learn these concepts and move toward designing pedals when I retire, so this content is immensely helpful. I want to go early, but need a purpose and building DIY kits has been a really fun start. This content will help me take the next steps. Thanks Brian!
As a guitarist, Tumnus user, amateur amp builder and professional geek this kind of stuff is super interesting and useful to know. Thanks for sharing.
